When Human Falls To The Bottom Of The Food Chain: Giant Catfish
I came across these pictures at some sites, story are more or less the same saying that giant man-eating catfish found in a reservoir in Guangdong, China. The article with these pictures also told how they deploy dead and life chickens to catch this so-called giant catfish.
What I really wanted to say is that the story is a total bullshit (pardon my French)! I think every diver or marine student should know immediately that this is a "Whale Shark" instead of Catfish!! Whale shark is a filter feeder, feeding on phytoplankton, zooplankton, krill or small nektonic life. They are the largest, harmless shark species which lives in open sea instead of some reservoir!! In fact, they are so huge that only a few aquarium in the world can keep them. Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is one and Georgia Aquarium is the other.
Conclusion is, what I really see from the pictures above is not killing a "reservoir-man-eating-monster"! I bet they didn't know that whale shark is an endangered species and they just showed the whole wide world their crime of killing protected animals. Shame on them!

Zebra Crossing: For Penguins Only
That's right, the sign is showing "Alert! Penguins crossing". The one and the only in Devon. It was installed as safety precaution by staff at Living Coast in Torquay for the colonies of 80 African penguins regularly using the footpath meet their feeder from the Penguin Beach. via
Multy Legged Duck And Duckling: Is This A Sign
It is, again, reported duckling born with extra limbs. This time, it is in China. If you recalled, there was one very famous, 4 legged duck named Stumpy (picture below) in Hampshire. Similar cases, but worlds apart. These mutated ducks are from farms, has anyone ever curious why mutation happens there? Could it be anything to do with the feed? Or is it just evolution?

If you haven't noticed, all the rich women tends to leave their fortune for their pet instead of their kids or grandchildren. I can be sure that it is better off to be a pet than human now. *Just Kidding*In July 2000, the singer Madonna sold her eight bedroom Miami villa for £5million to agents acting on behalf of a German Shepherd dog called Gunther IV.
Apparently, Gunther IV had inherited his fortune from his father, Gunther III, who had in turn been the sole heir of the estate of his owner, a German Countess by the name of Karlotta Liebenstein who left £43m to her dog when she died in 1992.
Gunther IV soon made headlines again, when he paid £1,000 to buy a rare white truffle in a fiercely contested auction in Turin a year later, this time appearing in person (if that is the right phrase), along with two of his domestic staff.
His property portfolio is also said to include estates in the Bahamas, Italy and Germany.

Natural History Museum at Tring Received £87,000 Government Grants For 88 Stuffed Dogs!
The spoke person of the museum at Hertfordshire mentioned that the grant would be spent on improving the display alongside with other stuffed amphibians reptiles, flightless birds and marsupials.
Those stuffed dogs were said to illustrate the impact of selective breeding mainly date from the early 20th century.
The body of Mick the Miller, legendary racing greyhound who won 46/61 races during his career between 1928 - 1931, is also one of the collection.
Now you know why the museum's given so much money? After Helmsley case, I keep having this feeling that sometimes it is better to be a dog than human. First Trouble inherited £12 million that it does know how to spend and now, dead dogs get £ 87,000 grant. I don't know, why not you tell me.
