Did You Know The 25 -Est In The World: #5 The Highest Falls

The Angel Falls is the highest waterfall in the world. In the Canaima National Park, Venezuela, lies one of the largest tepuy (a flat top mountain ending with vertical walls) where Angel falls plunge from a height of 979 meter or 3000 ft.

Local Pemones called it the Churún Merú. Angel Falls were named after the American aviator who found it accidentally in search of gold in 1937.

Sometimes, it is also known as the "Salto Angel" waterfall. see more pictures...
