Did You Know The 25 -Est In The World: #10 The Warmest Saltiest Sea

The Red Sea is suppose to be the World's warmest and saltiest sea. It is not the Dead Sea because Dead Sea is a lake. It lies between desert and semi-desert caused high evaporation. The scarcity of rainfall and no major source of fresh water to the Red Sea result in the excess evaporation as high as 205 cm per yr and high salinity with minimal seasonal variation.

Despite its high salinity, 36 to 38 ppt, it is known for rich and diverse ecosystem. Many divers and snorkelers visited Red sea each year. I just wonder if the visibility is good enough for a dive at the area. Read more...
