The Expiry Date Of Car Tyre

Tyre usually has a 4 years validity period and how do we know if the tyre on our car is expired? The information we need is all on the tyre. Unlike other goods, the date on the tyre is the date of made (DOM). The 4 digits, in this example is 4002, means the week and year of production. There are 52 weeks in a year, therefore, that tyre was made on the 40th week of year 2002. For safety purposes, check your tyre so that they don't burst at the middle of the road. Drive safe.
